Regulatory Compliance Engineer

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to join the EES team. This role suits professionals with experience in global regulatory standards and product compliance, especially in the automotive sector. The engineer will ensure new products meet validation and regulatory requirements, working closely with internal teams and external testing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain segment-wide product validation and regulatory testing processes for new product introductions.
• Create and implement testing plans and procedures aligned with project and product needs.
• Collaborate with external testing partners and manage outsourcing relationships.
• Track and report project progress with outsourced testing labs.
• Provide technical support to external labs, ensuring alignment with production schedules and documentation standards.

Regulatory Expertise Required:

• In-depth knowledge of UL, IEC, GBT, EU Directives, and other global regulatory standards.
• Hands-on experience with EMC, Product Safety, and Materials Compliance.
• Familiarity with CE certifications and other international regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of material compliance and hazardous component restrictions.
• Experience with PROP65, POP, REACH, RoHS, and similar regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years in Product or Regulatory Compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
• Preferred: Experience with automotive standards and testing methodologies.
• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, but not mandatory.
