In this senior leadership role you will report to the Group Financial Controller based in the UK and will be responsible for heading the finance and administration area of the business here in Mexico. To be successful in this role, you must be ambitious, growth focused and with the ability to manage a business unit, not just finance.
In this finance and administration manager role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the efficient financial management of the business
- Detailed reporting under IFRS
- Creation of budgets, forecasts and mid term plans
- Management of a small team
- Creation of structures and processes to enable the business to grow
- Management of a small team
- Running the full administration of the business
- Coordinating other departments including: HR and IT
- Developing the growth plans of the business
- In the mid term, this role will involve a focus on potential acquisitions and integrations
- There is also a very strong potential for international transfers in the business in the future.
The successful candidate for this role will have the following attributes
- Accounting background, ideally gained in a Big 4 environment, however experience in smaller accounting businesses will also be welcomed
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of finance, including: budgeting and forecasting, payroll, internal controls, accounting under financial reporting standards
- Team management experience
- Some exposure to acquisitions or integrations
- Fluent English
- Experience in international businesses
