Flexographic Print Supervisor

Position Purpose Lead the flexographic printing area, ensuring print quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to the master production plan, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and systematic waste reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of flexographic printing equipment, primarily Gallus

• Ensure compliance with production plans and quality standards

• Manage and improve performance indicators: OEE, scrap, downtime, productivity

• Plan and coordinate workload per shift

• Validate plate mounting, proper cleaning, and Anilox calibration

• Manage inventories of inks, solvents, and consumables

• Execute continuous improvement projects and waste reduction programs

• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

• Handle deviations, customer complaints, and corrective action plans

• Collaborate closely with Prepress, Maintenance, and Quality departments

• Train, evaluate, and develop the operational team

Profile Requirements

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Graphic Design, or related field

• Minimum experience: 7 years in flexographic printing and 3 years in supervision

• Expertise with Gallus equipment; experience with Comexi and Arsoma is desirable

• Proficient in UV, water-based, and solvent inks

• Strong knowledge of Anilox and quality assurance processes

• Solid KPI management and continuous improvement methodologies

• Skills: Leadership, decision-making, effective communication

• Technical English desirable
