The Supplier Planning Manager based in Toluca is fully responsible for managing efficient, process and legally-compliant Supplier Planning Operation. The position is responsible for 1000M USD sales volume and key project associated volume, in planning coordination of raw material supply, supplier packaging administration and engineering changes in LOG. The last with an annual shared budget responsibility for 65M USD Logistics cost.

Main Responsibilities of the Supplier Planning Manager:

Material Resource Management
▪ Manage the material resource planning operation, assuring efficient planning and ordering process to secure on-time availability of right resources in right quantities in the right place, to cover defined customer and production demand
▪ Manage the process of identifying and prioritizing all sources of demand, material and other resources used to add value to a product

Supplier Logistics Management and Development
▪ Deployment of the ED/PS/LOG and BU strategies in the Supplier Planning team;
▪ Driving and ensuring the achievement of the Plant Targets (BP, TCT, LC…)
▪ Initiate and implement process improvements in order to secure the targets;
▪ Monitoring and reporting of relevant KPI of Supplier Planning to stakeholders;
▪ Analyzing and merging key planning data relevant to LOG results;
▪ Ensure implementation of relevant Policies, Manuals and Bosch Standards

Supplier Packaging Administration
▪ Assure optimized supplier packaging flow according to material requirements, maintaining returnable packaging loops according to planned volumes;
▪ Maintaining the expenses for expandable supplier packaging on budget;
▪ Coordinate operation of external service provider related to supplier packaging.

Engineering Changes Administration in LOG
▪ Coordinate activities within TlP/LOG related to planning and implementation of engineering changes of all GBs / BUs in the plant;
▪ Plan and coordinate End of Production within TlP/LOG to avoid disruption in production by the end of project life and avoiding generation of obsolete material

Key requirements to perform as a Supplier Planning Manager in the automotive industry:

• (8+ years’ preferred) Experience within supply chain management, preferably within supplier and materials planning in the automotive industry
• (5+ years’ aprox. ) Experience in Automotive Supply Chain Management
• Experience with resource planning Concepts and methods
• Experience leading SCM teams
• Experience inventory level definition and control concepts
• Business English Proficiency
• Disponibility to work in Toluca
• Good communications skills
