KAM – Strategic Telecom Service Provider

We are seeking a Strategic Key Account Manager to lead the commercial relationship with a national telecommunications service provider, managing a portfolio of broadband access and networking solutions including residential routers, switches, gateways, and customer-premises connectivity equipment.

This role will play a critical part in strengthening long-term positioning within a high-volume enterprise environment, supporting large-scale deployment initiatives and driving sustainable growth through strategic account development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial relationship with a Tier-1 telecommunications service provider
  • Develop growth strategies across product categories such as:
    • residential routers
    • access switches
    • broadband gateways
    • CPE devices
    • connectivity infrastructure supporting fiber and fixed access deployments
  • Identify expansion opportunities aligned with network evolution programs
  • Support participation in structured procurement processes and technical evaluations
  • Coordinate cross-functional proposal development with engineering and pre-sales teams
  • Support product qualification and technical onboarding processes
  • Align demand planning with supply chain stakeholders
  • Maintain visibility on technology roadmap alignment with customer priorities
  • Execute pricing strategies within competitive bidding environments
  • Support forecasting activities for large-volume deployments
  • Maintain executive-level engagement within the account organization

Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Telecommunications Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
    or related technical discipline preferred

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in:

  • strategic account management within telecom environments
  • broadband access technologies
  • networking hardware solutions
  • customer-premises equipment (CPE)
  • telecom vendor ecosystems
  • infrastructure deployment programs

Strong preference for candidates with prior experience working within a large telecommunications operator environment


Technical Knowledge (Preferred)

  • FTTH architectures
  • broadband access technologies
  • carrier-grade networking environments
  • residential WiFi solutions
  • switching infrastructure
  • telecom product qualification processes
  • structured procurement cycles in telecom operators
  • large-scale rollout coordination
