Head of Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Finance Manager to join a leading tech startup in the insurance sector. This role will oversee financial operations and act as a strategic partner to the CEO, driving business growth. Ideal candidates have strong financial expertise, hands-on experience, and are ready to take on greater responsibilities, with the potential to grow into a CFO role.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Accounting & Compliance: Ensure accurate accounting processes and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, optimize resources, and maintain liquidity for operational needs.
• Banking Relationships & Financing: Build strong relationships with financial institutions and lead efforts to secure funding.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, shareholders, and investors.
• Strategic Partnership with CEO: Collaborate closely with the CEO on key decisions to drive business growth and scalability.
• Operational Leadership: Manage at least two functional areas within the finance department, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.

Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience as Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager, with readiness for higher leadership roles.
• 6–7 years of relevant experience, ideally starting in audit or consulting (Big Four or similar) before transitioning into corporate roles.
• Comprehensive expertise in FP&A, accounting, treasury management, and financial administration.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• A stable career trajectory demonstrating continuous growth within organizations.
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial results to diverse audiences (senior management, shareholders, investors).
