Accounting Coordinator

We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end accounting process for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations. This role partners closely with FP&A and other stakeholders, supports audits, drives process improvements, and takes full ownership of accounting operations in a multinational manufacturing environment.

We are partnering with a leading multinational manufacturing company seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join its Finance team.

This role is ideal for a senior accounting professional who enjoys taking full ownership of an entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, partnering with the business, and driving continuous process improvements. Although the position includes one direct report and an intern, strong individual contributors with leadership potential are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end accounting process for assigned legal entities inthe region.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial close.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, provisions, accruals, depreciation and amortization.
• Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger and ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Support financial consolidation and reporting activities.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
• Support manufacturing accounting activities, including cost accounting and inventory-related transactions.
• Participate in ERP enhancements, automation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Shared Services and external stakeholders to optimize accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within multinational organizations.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including:
  • IFRS
  • General Ledger
  • Provisions, Accruals, Depreciation & Amortization
  • Financial Reporting
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP SAP experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced English (B2+).
