Senior Simulation Engineers (FEA / CFD)

At Robert Walters, we are currently seeking two Senior Simulation Engineers (one focused on Structures – FEA and one on Fluids – CFD) to join a leading international company specializing in advanced engineering and simulation solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers with strong expertise in ANSYS who are looking for a high-impact role combining technical analysis, client interaction, and global project exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced simulations using ANSYS tools (Fluent, CFX, Mechanical, APDL)
• Execute the full simulation workflow: modeling, meshing, boundary conditions/load setup, solving, and post-processing
• Understand client requirements and translate them into engineering solutions
• Prepare and present technical reports and simulation results
• Provide technical support to ANSYS users
• Deliver technical training (on-site and remote)
• Participate in consulting and technical pre-sales activities (scope definition, proposals, etc.)
• Collaborate with international teams, primarily based in the United States

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) – Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ANSYS in real-world applications (mandatory)
• Proven experience in industrial projects (not only academic)

For FEA (Structures):

• Linear and non-linear structural analysis
• Dynamics, vibration, fatigue, or impact analysis
• Experience with ANSYS Mechanical, APDL, LS-DYNA, or Abaqus

For CFD (Fluids):

• Fluid mechanics and heat transfer
• Experience in areas such as aerodynamics, turbomachinery, combustion, or multiphase flow
• Experience with ANSYS Fluent or CFX
