Strategic Account Manager – Engineering Simulation Solutions
A leading international company specialized in advanced engineering and simulation solutions is seeking its next Strategic Account Manager for Mexico. This position will play a key role in developing and expanding global accounts within the Mexican market, working closely with multinational clients across industries such as automotive, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, energy, and heavy industry.
We are looking for a highly consultative and relationship-driven professional capable of connecting existing global agreements with local engineering, manufacturing, and innovation operations in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strategic global accounts with operations in Mexico.
- Identify expansion opportunities for advanced engineering and simulation solutions within existing clients.
- Act as the liaison between global stakeholders and local teams within multinational organizations.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with engineering, innovation, manufacturing, and procurement departments.
- Coordinate regional commercial initiatives aligned with global contracts and strategies.
- Identify new business units, plants, or engineering areas where additional solutions can be implemented.
- Collaborate with international technical and commercial teams to ensure successful solution adoption.
- Conduct frequent client visits and participate in strategic national and international meetings.
Desired Profile
- Previous experience in roles such as:
- Strategic Account Manager
- Key Account Manager
- Enterprise Account Manager
- Business Development Manager
- Client Partner
- OEM Account Manager
- Commercial experience within companies related to:
- simulation software,
- digital engineering,
- advanced manufacturing,
- industrial technology solutions,
- CAD/CAE/CFD/PLM,
- or digital transformation for engineering and manufacturing.
- Experience or strong understanding of advanced engineering and simulation platforms used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing for virtual validation, performance analysis, product development, and engineering process optimization.
- Excellent written and conversational English skills are required.
- Strong executive communication and strategic relationship management skills.
- Experience working with multinational clients and global corporate structures.
- Highly consultative, relationship-oriented, and long-term mindset.
- Availability to travel frequently within Mexico and occasionally internationally.
Location
The position is based in Querétaro, Mexico; however, the company is open to considering candidates located in other states depending on their experience, background, and overall profile.
