What you'll do:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth by promoting engineered pumping solutions, spare parts, and aftermarket services to both existing and prospective customers. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational needs, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle. This position offers the opportunity to combine engineering knowledge with commercial strategy while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve ambitious business objectives.
- Develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers across industrial and water treatment markets.
- Promote engineered pumping solutions, spare parts, and technical services by providing consultative technical and commercial support.
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve operational performance and long-term reliability.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and company objectives.
- Manage sales opportunities throughout the full commercial cycle, from prospecting to quotation, negotiation, and order closure.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting to support business planning.
- Collaborate with engineering, application, and service teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by delivering responsive service and technical expertise.
- Achieve sales growth, profitability, and commercial performance targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
What you bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or commercial roles within the industrial sector.
- Proven experience with pumping equipment, particularly solutions for water and wastewater applications.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and pumping systems.
- Strong understanding of centrifugal pumps, submersible pumping systems, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with applicable standards and regulations related to water infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and international commercial practices.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
