Civil Works Coordinator – Cable Transport

An international company specialized in cable transport systems is seeking a Civil Works Coordinator to lead the execution of a major infrastructure project in Uruapan, Michoacán, as well as future projects across the country.

⚠️ Advanced English (both spoken and technical) is a mandatory requirement. The selected candidate must be fully capable of communicating with international clients, technical teams, and global partners in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the civil execution of cable transport systems (aerial tramways) and related infrastructure.

• Oversee foundations, stations, towers, access roads, and other major civil components.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team (civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines).

• Ensure fluid and professional communication with clients, contractors, government entities, and internal teams — particularly in English.

• Represent the company before government bodies and ensure compliance with local regulations.

• Monitor and guarantee project performance in terms of quality, safety, timelines, and budget.

Required Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); electrical knowledge is a plus.

• At least 8 years of experience managing large-scale civil construction projects (preferably involving cable transport, urban infrastructure, or similar complexity).

• Fluent in English (spoken and technical) – essential for meetings, reporting, and documentation.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Proven experience managing relationships with government stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel frequently across different project sites in Mexico.
