Materials Planner

Objective: Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of direct materials and components from both external and internal suppliers, in the correct quantities, to meet internal production schedules and on-time customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of direct materials from suppliers.

• Support material pickup scheduling in coordination with the LOT (Logistics Operations Team).

• Generate and follow up on logistics-related claims with suppliers.

• Track cost recovery efforts for logistics issues or material shortages caused by suppliers.

• Maintain and ensure compliance with area KPIs.

Specific Tasks:

1. Ensure timely material availability for production according to plant requirements.

2. Monitor and track inventory levels to meet defined targets.

3. Schedule pickups with domestic suppliers in coordination with the traffic/logistics team.

4. Generate and track logistics claims to suppliers.

5. Follow up on recovery of additional costs caused by supplier-related logistics problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree completed

• Advanced English proficiency is required (both written and spoken; language testing will be part of the selection process)

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in materials planning or supply chain roles
